Paper Accepted in ISMR!

Excited to share that FuTURE Lab’s first research paper has been accepted at the International Symposium on Medical Robotics (ISMR) 2025.

Title: Towards Autonomous Navigation of Neuroendovascular Tools for Timely Stroke Treatment via Contact-aware Path Planning

In this work, we propose a motion planner for autonomous navigation of telescopic pre-bent catheterization tools (guidewires and catheters) in acute ischemic stroke interventions. Attached is a video showcasing our actuation system using the planner to autonomously navigate the guidewire into the target branch.
